As a former Presentation School, we take part in the Challenge to Change project every year. If you're not sure what that's all about, the meaning is in the title of the project, Challenge to Change - we, those of us who live in relatively wealthy, industrial countries with a heavy carbon footprint, are being challenged to change our habits. 

Can we save water, for example, by turning the tap off whilst brushing our teeth?

Can we lobby producers of electrical items to tackle planned obsolescence? Why DO our phones, tablets, laptops stop working after a couple of years? Why do updates make them seem obsolete?

Can we plant trees to help offset our carbon footprint? 

We hope to take part in the Challenge to Change project, hosted in Kilkenny, later this school year. Watch this space for updates!
