Our newly formed soccer team played their first match this week. The girls played brilliantly - lots of lovely passing and shots on goal. Our goalkeeper was busy too and made some phenomenal saves.
What stood out most was the wonderful team spirit, with our captain leading by example. The girls worked for each other and really supported and encouraged their teammates, some who were playing on a full sized pitch for the first time.
We won 6-4 and are into the next round of the cup! Maith sibh cailíní!!
