We have been practicing activities which will help develop our fine motor skills. These are an important group of skills that relate to how children use the smaller muscle groups in their bodies – like those in their hands, fingers, and wrists – to perform tasks.
Fine motor skills are essential to perform daily self-care tasks such as zipping up our coats or opening clips and clasps, they are also essential for developing writing and other skills such as cutting.
