Some of our October activities have included
- Autumn walk to collect leaves
- Exploring and playing in our Outdoor Learning Area
- We read some Autumn stories including ‘The Leaf Thief’, ‘Leaf Man’ and ‘The Oak Tree’. We followed a step by step drawing to draw Squirrel from ‘The Leaf Thief’ and added some leaf rubbings. We really enjoyed making our own leaf people. We also used printed brown paint onto squirrel outlines. We used leaves for the squirrel’s tail.
