We have been learning a lot about Ireland between 1912-1923 and all the changes and events that took place in our country at that time. We learned about Home Rule, the 1916 Rising, The War of Independence and the Civil War and lots more in between. We were very lucky to get to visit Glasnevin Cemetery at the end of this unit of work to explore what we learned about in a more concrete way. The tour was brilliant and we learned so many more interesting and funny facts! We had a great day.
